Huge portions of delicious food. I come regularly with my family and always get the lunch special, including a drink, appetizer, and entree for $14.95 total. I always get water, hummus, and gyro. Love this restaurant!
Took the wife and daughter and family of 7 for dinner. We had beef, lamb and chicken, everything was delicious. The portions were tremendous and the cost more than reasonable. I lived in Adana Turkey for 3 years and loved the culture as well as the food. Must say very authentic and will be going back for more.
What a charming place Armando our waiter was extremely attentive. The only downside is he didn't comp us on a birthday dessert My giro platter was tasty and prepared well. Suggest giving this place a try
We went in on a very busy Sunday with almost all tables full. We were seated within minutes. They took a little while to take our order but our food was out very quickly considering almost every table was full. The server was kind even being so frazzled. Now to the food, the hummus was delicious, the steak kabob plate was wonderful with very large cuts of meat. The Mediterranean salad with gyro meat was very tasty with lots of meat. This being our first visit, we will most definitely return. Prices are about the same as everywhere else right now.
We have been to this place in the past. Most recently, we went for lunch. They have a wonderful lunch special. It comes with an appetizer, an entree, and a drink. We started with Babaganoush and Hummus. It had slightly different taste than some of the Lebanese places in town. It was delicious. We then had the Turkish Meatballs and Beef Kabob. The service was prompt even though they were busy. The atmosphere was a little more upscale than fast casual. The food was delicious. Try the lunch special if you want to dip your feet in before jumping in. We will come back again.

We like to stop here when we can for lunch since it's not too far from the office. The lunch special comes with an appetizer and an entree as well as a drink. I wanted to try the coffee and it wasn't part of the special but I'm glad i decided to get it. The coffee was similar to an espresso shot and It had great flavor. I started w the lentil soup this time and it was very good. My entree was chicken delight and it was a large portion that came w rice. I could have shared it based on portion size. The restaurant is super clean as well as the bathrooms and the service is always good. Will be back for lunch soon.
Istanbul is simply one of the best places for great Mediterranean food in Arlington. It's a classy sit down restaurant that's big on service and great food. Extensive menu with all the traditional favorites. The salmon kabob is out of this world! We always finish with Turkish coffee and desert.
Everything was great! The lunch special was affordable and you get really nice portions. You get appetizer & entree! Lamb shank was huge!!! Full of flavor and savory. I was blown away how HUGE it was. Gyro sandwhich was also good. The pita bread was hot and fluffy. I forgot what it is called, but it was like fried cheese rolls, it was delicious. I don't think you can go wrong with anything you order.
